Derv is a type of liquid fuel used in on-road vehicles, DERV
stands for Diesel Engine Road Vehicle but is also known as white diesel or road
diesel.
Diesel
Engine Road Vehicle fuel is commonly used to power transport, haulage, HGVs and
passenger vehicles that have diesel engines. Our road diesel fuels are
compliant and manufactured to the British standard EN590.
It is important to understand the rules and differences in tax rates when comparing your choice of fuel. Unlike other industry fuels like Gas Oil that are rebated to help with business costs, government duty tax applies to DERV fuel.
Please note it is illegal to use Red Diesel / Gas Oil in road vehicles.
